What the platform is

Camruletka is a random video chat that runs in the browser and is written for Russian speakers. It connects 2 strangers for a one-on-one video call, and the site says you can start a chat in less than 30 seconds without signing up. The pages are in Russian, and the homepage states that the interface, the filters and the support are all in Russian: "Camruletka создана для русскоязычных пользователей по всему миру" (Camruletka is built for Russian-speaking users around the world). The emphasis it puts on itself is speed, anonymity and a chat that costs nothing to start.

There are no performers here. Both sides of every call are ordinary visitors, so there are no tip rooms, no private shows and no model roster. The one paid layer is an in-site currency called Sparks, which buys extras such as search filters, chat history and a verification tick. The core chat is described as free, and the FAQ says a visitor must be at least 18 to use it, a rule it says is strictly enforced.

What you get and how the money works

The basic flow is 3 steps, as the homepage lays them out. Allow access to the camera and microphone, let the system find a stranger, then talk or press "Далее" (Next) to move to someone else. The site says each session is free, that the number of people you can meet is not limited, and that nothing needs installing: no apps, no plugins, no downloads. It works in a browser on a computer, iPhone, iPad and Android. The FAQ adds that calls can switch to a built-in text chat as well as video. The site also says it is not a social network: there are no likes and no followers, only conversations between 2 people. Video is described as smooth and clear, with fast and stable chats.

Matching and filters. Before you start, the chat screen asks you to pick your own gender (a guy or a girl, which the other person sees) and then who you want to talk to: everyone, only guys or only girls. The search settings add a country selector with a full list of countries, a "Рядом" (Nearby) option and an exclude button. The homepage FAQ says filters by gender and location are available for free, and argues that most platforms charge for filters while Camruletka includes them. The chat screen also has a blur option with a 5 second delay, a microphone toggle and a camera toggle. A "Только девушки" (girls only) shortcut sits at the top of the chat page beside a live count of verified women online. Those counters move with traffic and are a display, not a fixed number.

Free versus Sparks. The two pages do not line up neatly on filters. The homepage says gender and country filters are free. The chat page, though, has a Sparks shop whose first item is "Фильтры поиска" (search filters), described as choosing who you talk to by gender and country, priced at 100 Sparks for 24 hours. The same shop lists "Показать пол" (show the other person's gender) at 50 Sparks for 24 hours, "История чатов" (full chat history) at 100 Sparks for 24 hours, a blue verification tick next to your name at 100 Sparks for 7 days, and a "Заморозка серии" (streak freeze) at 200 Sparks, which saves a daily streak if you miss a day. The site does not explain how the paid search filters relate to the free filters promised on the homepage.

Accounts and the Sparks economy. Chatting as a guest is possible, though the chat page prompts guests to log in to save their progress. Buying anything needs an account: the shop says "Создай бесплатный аккаунт для покупок" (create a free account to make purchases). Registration asks for a username, an email address and a password, and a confirmation that you are at least 18 and accept the terms, privacy policy and rules; an emailed link then activates the account. Sparks also pay for features beyond filters. The chat page lists private messages so you can keep talking after a call, gifting Sparks to another user (quick amounts of 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000, or a custom sum), and opening premium photos in private galleries that users upload to their profiles. Sending a message costs "50 sparks за сообщение" (50 sparks per message), shown beside your balance. Sparks packages are marked "скоро" (coming soon), with the line "Больше sparks по выгодной цене" (more sparks at a good price), so there is no package price list yet. Sparks can also be earned: the transactions panel tells new users to start earning Sparks to fill it, and a leaderboard shows top earners and a champion of the week. The site does not explain whether earned Sparks can be cashed out.

Profiles and accounts. Registered users get a profile with a photo, an about-me field of up to 200 characters, interests, an age and what they are looking for, activity counts for all time and for the past week, and the time spent in chat. A profile can be added to favorites or blocked. Settings include push notifications for new messages, streak reminders and favorites coming online, plus an option to add the site to your home screen as an app. Account deletion is permanent and removes the profile, photos and Sparks.

Safety and moderation. The site says it uses active moderation and complaint tools to keep the platform respectful, that all video calls are anonymous by default and that no personal information is required. The FAQ says you can end any chat at any time by closing it or pressing Next, and change partners as often as you like.

Memberships. For readers arriving from the Russian cams page, this is the whole offer: a Russian-language interface and support, with a worldwide pool of strangers. For readers arriving from the free cams page, the core chat and the filters named on the homepage are free, and Sparks are optional.

The figures from the pages

The homepage gives two sets of reach claims. Its hero says "9+ миллионов" users worldwide and "700+ тыс" conversations a day; further down it says more than 1M monthly users, 190+ countries, more than 2M connections a day and 10+ languages. These are the site's own marketing numbers, and the two sets do not match each other. The 10+ languages figure also sits oddly beside the statement that the whole platform is in Russian.

On money, the pages state the following. The core chat is free ("полностью бесплатно"), and the FAQ says there are no hidden payments or mandatory subscriptions to start chatting. Gender and country filters are called free on the homepage. The Sparks shop prices its time-limited items at 100 Sparks for search filters, 50 for show gender and 100 for chat history (each for 24 hours), 100 for the blue tick (7 days) and 200 for a streak freeze. A message costs 50 sparks. Gifts can be sent in amounts from 1 to 1000 Sparks. The site publishes no price for Sparks themselves, since the packages are marked coming soon, and no payment method. The homepage footer does link a page on refunds and chargebacks ("Возвраты и чарджбэки"). It names no owner or location, only "Camruletka" and a 2026 copyright line.

Who it suits and who it does not

Camruletka suits a Russian-speaking adult who wants quick, free random video chats with a choice of gender and country, on a phone or computer, without installing anything. It also fits someone who wants a conversation platform and does not want to pay for time with a performer, because there is no performer side at all.

It is a weaker match for anyone looking for cam models, tipping or private shows, since the site describes none. Readers who want to budget should note that Sparks can be spent and earned but not yet bought at a published price. The mix of free filters on the homepage and a 100-Spark filter item in the shop is the main point of confusion. Because the callers are other visitors and not vetted performers, the site's own moderation and complaint tools are the only safeguard it describes. Finally, readers who do not read Russian will find the whole interface in that language.
